Huda Al Ghabshi is an accomplished Computer Engineer with a Master of Science in ICT Management and over 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. A trailblazer in the sector, Huda is recognized as a leading force in the development and expansion of subsea connectivity and network strategies. She is also a proud recipient of the Global Telecom Award for Tech & Telecom Woman of the Year 2023, an accolade that celebrates her exceptional contributions to the industry and her leadership in the ever-evolving world of telecommunications. She is currently Head of Division (HOD) for Data and Connectivity as a first Omani Woman in wholesale and submarine world. In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive development plan for ZOI's footprint across 8 countries: Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Sudan, and South Sudan. Huda is focused on expanding subsea connectivity, optimizing capacity, and ensuring the sustainable growth of the company's infrastructure in a rapidly evolving market.
