Kuutti Kilpeläinen is at the forefront of driving digital transformation in emerging markets as the Head of Digital Infrastructure and Solutions at Finnfund. The fund invests growth capital across the digital value chain, focusing on high-impact, commercially attractive corporates in Telecom and Tech sectors. Kuutti is responsible of the Digital Infrastructure and Solutions investment portfolio, deal origination and investment strategy.

Under Kuutti's leadership, the team is dedicated to bridging the digital divide by enhancing rural connectivity, upgrading existing infrastructure for high-speed, affordable internet, and fostering technologies that advance digital and financial inclusion. The investments are focused on Sub-Saharan Africa, South and Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

Before joining Finnfund, Kuutti gained experience in corporate and investment banking at Citibank, working in both Finland and Hong Kong. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Lappeenranta University of Technology.
