Najib Khan
Najib Khan is the Group Chief Business Services Officer (GCBSO) responsible for Ooredoo Group’s Wholesale and B2B business based at Doha, Qatar. He is part of Ooredoo Group Management and a Board Member of Ooredoo Palestine. Prior to this role, he served as MD & CEO of Ooredoo Maldives Plc and as an Executive Director in the Board of Ooredoo Maldives. Under his leadership Ooredoo Maldives became a public limited company after a successful IPO in 2017.
In the various leadership roles, he has pioneered digital access for consumers by introducing D-I-Y consumer plans, AI BOT Digital assistant for customer service, Digital resorts application for the hospitality industry, eCommerce, mobile money applications for consumers and democratization of broadband in the underserved markets by deploying 4G & 5G mobile technologies.
He has more than 28 years’ experience in the telecoms sector and has also served as a CEO – Homes & Offices for Bharti Airtel Limited before joining Ooredoo. He spearheaded the acceleration of high speed broadband, FTTH, IPTV services and Cloud services for the B2B segment.
Najib has a Bachelor of Science in Business with Marketing from University of London, an Industrial Electronics Technical degree from Mumbai University and is a Postgraduate in Business Management.
He is now looking after the Wholesale and B2B business across Ooredoo Group’s global operations.

Highest traction of digital penetration across the group. Launched a Super App strategy within a Telco environment combining Telecom selfcare, financial services, eCommerce & Entertainment.
