Steve Legge
As CEO and President of netnumber, Steve Legge spearheads its strategic direction and continuous growth. With over two decades of experience, his leadership is shaped by deep insights from a distinguished career. Steve has held senior executive and technical roles across the telecommunications, broadcast, and satellite industries in both the U.S. and Australia. His track record includes leading three successful acquisitions and three successful exits across multiple industry sectors.
Steve initially joined NetNumber, Inc. as Vice President of Corporate Development in November 2013, where he led the company’s global partner and business strategies. He then served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, spearheading the company’s highly successful agile transformation and strategic transition to cloud-native and 5G solutions, setting the stage for the next phase of growth within both NetNumber and netnumber Global Data Services. Steve led the spin out and sale of the NetNumber software assets (now Titanium Software) in 2022, and the sale of netnumber Global Data Services (netnumber) to Abry Partners later that year.
Background
Steve commenced his career in the broadcast television industry and was Chief Technical Officer for the NBN Television network in Australia until 1999, when he cofounded SP Telecommunications. SP Telecommunications, now TPG Telecom, is a national mobile, fixed line and broadband carrier in Australia, and was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2001.
After relocating to the US in 2008, Steve joined Cisco to lead Global Business Development for the Global Government Solutions Group. Prior to joining NetNumber in 2013, Steve was Vice President of Telecom and Space Systems for VT iDirect, Inc., a Virginia-based satellite communications technology provider.
